MOVE MORE WATER FOR NIGHTTIME BASS
It is important to move water when the sun goes down. Bass feed at night but rely more on movement of the bait than sight. Bass are sensitive to vibration and can hone in on the bait, or your presentation, better if you cause some vibration in the movement of your bait. There are well known lures with built in vibration like a spinner bait or wide wobble cranks, but many times anglers use plastics in their presentation. When night fishing with plastics I like to move water with that bait and so I utilize a larger worm. A longer worm might give the bass more worm to look at but a fatter worm moves more water and at night this is critical. The fat worm moves more water therefore giving the bass not only a visual, however faint, but also a wave of pushed water which the bass can sense allowing it to hone in on the bait quicker and easier providing you with more bass at night. Give it a try.
