BASS IN TIGHT TO COVER

When fishing tight to cover, flipping or pitching, be very quite and turn off all electronics.

COLOR NO MORE AFTER 20 FEET

Beyond 20 feet deep color means very little so go with dark baits.

MUDDY WATER BASS

Muddy water bass fishing calls for dark baits like black or dark blues.

CLEAR WATER BASS

Clear water for bass fishing throw pumpkin seed and green lighter colors.

CLOUDY DAYS

When cloudy bass will roam more freely. To catch more bass time to cover more water.

WHEN ITS SUNNY OUT

When its sunny out bass will snug up next to cover, tight. To catch more bass on bright sunny days slow down and pick apart the cover.

UNDERSTANDING BASS

To catch more bass you have to understand what they are doing and why. This is the single most important knowledge to catching more bass. More important than lure selection, lure color, line dimension, sunny, cloudy, cold or hot. None of these thigs mean anything if you can not find the bass and understand what they are doing and why they are doing it. This is a list of important factors in catching more bass. Feel free to add your 2 cents in explaining these tips further such as experiances you have had with these tips and maybe when the light went off about a certain tip. I know through much research in reading as well as listning things that were so obvious escaped me for so long. It is amazing how reading blog inputs on personal experiances how many of these revelations have come to me. This post is hopefully a revelation to some and just knowledge to others. Either way I hope you will participate in this blog and help anglers catch more bass and enjoy this great pastime we are so fortunate to enjoy.
